Honestly I can’t say enough great things about Worry Free Hospice. I used this company for the passing of my two moms which passed about three months apart. They’re team was so knowledgeable, supportive and caring. Anna the head nurse was absolutely amazing and so informative on what to expect which was such a blessing in a very stressful time, she really went above and beyond during one chaotic situation to make room for the hospital bed. Dr Song was very informed about their medical needs and quick to respond to any medical situations that arose to ensure that they were comfortable and had the right medications. Additionally the medical supply company they use is so polite and professional with up to date equipment. We so appreciated their service in such a difficult time.
We were fortunate enough to work with Anna at Worry Free Hospice. That’s exactly what Anna provided for us, no worries. She made it possible for us to get my father-in-law to my house and pass away the way he wished to. She was very hands-on, always quick to respond. When he passed away she came to our house immediately and handled all the arrangements for us. Dr. Singh was also amazing to work with as well. They are a smaller hospice company, and I am so thankful we went with them instead of an aggressive larger hospice company. Anna became part of our family during this journey. We couldn’t have made it without her compassion and dedication. Will forever remember you and will always be grateful.
I literally cannot say enough about how amazing Anna and WorryFree Hospice are!! There are not words. At the worst possible time in our family’s lives, when we don’t know what is going on or what to do or how to do it, the hospital gave us some names of Hospice places to contact. TBH we didn’t even know why. The first place we called felt very, well, uncomfortable. They felt like car salesmen–pushy–telling us to sign here sign now sign sign sign. At that point there was still a small chance our dad would be released from the hospital–we didn’t need hopsice. When it was clear we did, they kept calling and calling. After we met with Anna, we knew it was a whole different dynamic. We were people to WorryFree, a family; we weren’t another customer to be signed. Even after we told the other company we were not going with them, they called and texted us THREE MORE TIMES–once after our dad was home!–asking if we wanted to switch to them!
WorryFree was nothing like that. Anna was nothing like that.
I have to say Nurse Anna was an absolute angel. She came in, gently explained things to us. She had a binder for us with all the information we needed, with 24 hour phone numbers and explanations and helpful contact info for other related places like area funeral home suggestions that we didn’t even think of. She talked through equipment and materials we might need and asked us what we wanted. She showed us exactly how to change the bed with our dad still in it while keeping him as comfortable as possible. She got us a fancy bed -that was hard to find- delivered to our door, and set up in ur house WITHIN TWO HOURS. All materials we needed such as the briefs and liner pads and gloves, etc, all arrived same day too. EVERYTHING was set up and ready for my dad’s arrival.
When my dad was there, she treated him with even more respect and kindness than she treated us, as if that was even possible! She made sure he was set up correctly and that we all knew what we needed to do–or that we knew where to go to find out how. She made him comfy, and she made him laugh. She assured us she was available for Qs at any time, and she was! At no time did we feel like we were bothering her with our many Qs or texts (even though we did feel like we were, TBH. We’d never been through anything like this before).
When he passed, she swooped back in and handled everything for us within minutes. We didn’t have to do anything but call family.
I cannot thank WorryFree Hopsice enough for being a beacon of light for us during such a dark time.
Nurse Anna, I speak for all of my family when I tell you we could not have done this without you simply being you. You were a literal Godsend. I am certain my dad is just as thankful you were there with us.
